principalDear NCS Families,

I wanted to share that students are doing a fantastic job on NWEA testing.  The assessments provide valuable data for our staff to best instruct students in the areas of Reading and Mathematics.  Our NCS Student Council is hosting our first assembly of the year next week.  We look forward to our time together as a school!  Thank you, families, for your continued support of your children and our programs.  Have a fantastic fall weekend!

In the Art Room…

Through the month of October, NCS 8th graders were lucky enough to get a GIANT (1400 lb) pumpkin to decorate for Pumpkin Fest. They chose their design based on a class-wide vote, then spent two weeks creating the additive portion of the pumpkin. Their theme was ‘Coraline’, a popular stop-motion claymation movie. The pumpkin sits outside of Hannaford until they are removed next week. Great job, 8th grade!!
