On behalf of our staff at NCS, we wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday and a much deserved vacation! We are doing great things at NCS every day, and we are so proud of our students and their accomplishments so far this school year. Fifth-graders in Mrs. Kaler's class have been writing "How To" essays in recent weeks.
They have created outlines and written on subjects including how to open a refrigerator door, do a push-up, and put on a turtleneck sweater. They tested their instructional writing by having a friend follow the steps to see if the language was clear, often with hilarious results. Go, Lions!
