Our 5th graders wrapped up four weeks of tennis at the Y just before April break—and what a fantastic experience it was! Thanks to a grant-funded program through the CLC YMCA, students not only built their skills but also got to take home their very own racquets, tennis balls, water bottles, and t-shirts. We’re so proud of their hard work and enthusiasm. GO LIONS!

Eight lucky NCS students are rolling into spring with brand new bikes and helmets!
As part of the annual Bikes for Books program, students earned entries by reading and were selected in a drawing held the Friday before break. These amazing prizes were generously donated by the Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Congratulations to our winners—and keep on reading!

Our 7th & 8th graders took a well-deserved brain break while stuck inside yesterday, teaming up to see who could create the longest paper chains. There was lots of teamwork, laughter, and friendly competition all around!

Congratulations to our five 4th & 5th grade students who will be attending the 4/5 Honors Festival in Augusta on Saturday, May 2nd!
Layla Bradbury, Bronson Sturtvent, Eli Pothier, Laila Lufkin, and Marlee Friant are in for a fun-filled day of music-making. Students will spend the day rehearsing, and families are invited to enjoy a special 30-minute performance at the end of the day.
