Mr. Coleman's students made tracking lanyards, and then tested out their newly learned tracking skills. They also learned that even if you can't identify what animal made a track, the size, distance between tracks, direction of tracks, and surrounding evidence can tell a fascinating story about how animals survive during a cold Maine winter.

On this frigid day, our GSB kindergarteners tried walking with eggs on their feet like emperor penguins.

In a game determined by foul shots, GSB 8th grade boys persevered tonight against Camden for an overtime win. 65 -61!

GBS @ The Great Maine Book Tournament yesterday at Lincoln Academy. The GSB team came in second place.

Due to icy conditions there will be a 2 hr delay for AOS 93 schools.

GSB third grade students made squash stew, no rise rolls, and a potato and celeriac casserole at Farms Kitchen. Also, you can see they did the dishes as well.

Due to the expected winter storm, Bristol, Nobleboro, Great Salt Bay and South Bristol Schools will be closed Monday January 23, 2023.

GSB Students helping Karen Hight, Prang Art Teacher of the year, open their new art supplies from Prang!

Miss Hedda came out to the yurt to teach us about native seeds and their benefits. This lesson was sparked by the student's interest in seeds they had collected in the fall from plants surrounding the yurt. They planted some to overwinter and spread the rest around the grounds.
