Members of the BCS Civil Rights team created a bulletin board to share information and art about many different holidays that are celebrated throughout the winter around the world. Learning more about people of different faiths, including their observances and holidays is one way we can celebrate diversity and reinforce that students of all religious and cultural identities should feel a sense of belonging in our BCS school community.

On Thursday, the seventh grade welcomed students and staff to the Cell Museum where they showcased models of plant and animal cells. They also played animations illustrating various ways materials leave and enter a cell including diffusion, osmosis, facilitated diffusion, endocytosis, and exocytosis. Lastly, the Cell Museum featured posters of mitosis, the process by which a cell divides. The seventh graders answered lots of questions by curious museum goers and had a great time sharing what they have learned! -Ms. Winchenbach
