Second-graders from Ms. K-B's class created an Africa exhibit and welcomed guests to see their reports, dioramas, posters, woven Kente cloths and more June 6. Go, Lions!


NCS students competed in a poster contest last week. Winners received posters from the Scholastic Book Fair, donated by NPTO. Go, Lions!


Fourth-graders in Mrs. Courand's class put on the annual "poetry slam" Thursday in their classroom. Each student shared three original poems. Two eighth-graders read poems honoring teacher Ms. Nilles, to whom the event was dedicated. Go, Lions!


NCS families & the NPTO generously donated two dozen books to the NCS Library from last week's Book Fair! Students are eagerly lining up to borrow them. Thanks, NPTO. Go, Lions!


Spring Concert night is tonight! Students were busy rehearsing Thursday and the concert begins at 6 p.m. in the NCS gymnasium. This also is the last chance to shop at the Scholastic Book Fair Buy One Get One Free sale! Sponsored by NPTO, it will be open for business before and after the concert (but not during) in the main lobby. Go, Lions!

At Nobleboro Central School, we are making plans for the upcoming kindergarten class. Maine children are eligible to be enrolled in a public school within the town in which they reside, provided your child has turned 5 years old on or before October 15th of that school year.

NCS students put on a production of "The Little Mermaid" on Thursday night at Waldo Theater. The show was directed by Ms. Plummer and sponsored by Gr. 8. Go, Lions!




Spirit Week wrapped up with Color Wars on Friday. Each classroom was assigned a color and some classes had 100% participation! NCS will celebrate next Friday with a frozen treat Go, Lions!
