All of the hard work of the students and teachers made for a tight competition in this year’s BCS PTO pumpkin decorating contest. Coming in with a tie for first place with 35 votes each was Ms Leonard’s 2nd grade homeroom and the 8th grade and a close second place finish with 34 votes for the 3rd grade!

8th grade students have been spending time with students in PreK during Guidance classes. They’ve been learning about their emotions and focusing on strategies that help with challenging feelings. Our oldest and youngest students seem to enjoy working together to practice some ideas that might bring comfort and calm to how they’re feeling. - Mrs. Brinkler
