It's SHOWTIME! Students from NCS Lion Productions will put on "Tangled" tonight (Thursday) at Waldo Theatre in Waldoboro. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6 p.m. show. Admission is free and open to the public. Join in a joyful, musical romp through Rapunzel's world, complete with thugs, a horse, a prince, a fuzzy unicorn, and much more. Thanks to Ms. Plummer, Ms. Richmond and others for all of their hard work and dedication putting on this student-led production of a fairytale classic. Go, Lions!

Teachers enjoyed seeing alternate versions of themselves around every corner, and students loved pretending to have a twin! Bikes for Books has begun at NCS, sponsored by the local Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star. NCS kids in Gr, 3-6 are encouraged to read a book, fill out a form, turn it in to their teacher, and get a chance to WIN a brand new bike & helmet. The NCS Lions were victorious Friday at Lincoln Academy, winning the Great Maine Book Tournament. They competed against five other teams from AOS 93 and beyond, including JVS, BCS, GSB and SBS. NCS will now go on to compete in the next round statewide. Go, Lions!
