Spirit Week and the 100th Day of School collided on Tuesday at NCS. Students and staff dressed in sports-themed clothing for "Sports Day" while special "100 Day" projects and activities also were under way. Stay tuned for more as Spirit Week and 100 Day continue. Go, Lions!

NCS winter clubs are in full swing with Chess Club and Sewing Club both meeting on Thursdays after school. This year's Sewing Club quilt will be donated to the school nurse's office to comfort NCS kids when they aren't feeling well. Go, Lions!

Eighth-graders from Nobleboro Central School won the
middle school division of the Stock Market Game, taking both first and
second place in the prestigious statewide competition. Mr. Suttmeier's social studies class participated as part of their economics unit. Go, Lions!

Two teams of NCS middle-schoolers participated in an annual reading competition held Jan. 30 at Lincoln Academy. The Great Maine Book Tournament round was won by GSB 7/8, which will move on to state competition. An AOS 93 "Battle of the Books" was won by BCS. While they didn't win, the NCS teams "Messy Hair Don't Care" (top photo) and "The Bookworms" performed well and made our school and community proud. Go, Lions!

The 8th Grade visited the Bath Regional Career & Technical Center (Bath Tech) on Friday to explore the options provided there including Carpentry, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Graphic Design, Electrical, and more!









Snowy weather has made for fun on the playground and in the classroom. At recess, snow forts, snow angels and snowmen are popular. Kindergarten heard "The Snowy Day" one snowy day last week and created their own artwork. Let it snow!

It's Book Fair week!

AOS 93 Schools, Great Salt Bay, Nobleboro, Bristol & South Bristol will have a two hour delay this morning, Monday, December 4th due to weather.
Jefferson Village School will have a full remote day today due to weather conditions.

South Bristol School is holding their Holiday Craft Fair, tomorrow, Saturday December 2nd from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the South Bristol School gym. Santa will be arriving at 11:00! There will be a fish chowder or hotdog lunch available!

The CAL students are wrapping up their Robotics Challenge Course unit. This trimester, the students used the provided building instructions and a series of smaller lessons to build and program a robot with various sensor and motor attachments before putting it all together in their own program for the Challenge Course that asked them to detect and grab a cuboid block, move it to a target zone, and then find and follow the curved line back to the starting point.
